Some Errors - Via the Mexico Mint

    First a 1000 Peso, 1988, aluminum bronze coin, weighing 15.07 grams, Ø 30.5 mm.
    About 26% off center.

    Below is a nice sample, (click to zoom in on obv.) of a lamination error. The planchet lost a small piece before it was struck. The alloy is copper nickel.

    any more error coins from the great mint in Mexico??? Lets see them.

    I have a 1976 error coin. 5 peso, indent by overlapping 20 centavos planchet.
