    As I said, two of them look replated so all of them look normal. Everything you stated looks like a normal steel cent, replated or not.

    They got reprocessed(new zinc coating). This = damaged. <---- = $0.30-1.50 each if that... The story sounds fake. The 1943 no mint mark looks legit.

    The "rough" spots on the S mint coin is rust.

    They certainly do fit the criteria of being "too shiny". I read that the proof is in the edges, as the edges shouldn't be plated.

    Now that makes sense if you are suggesting rough spots are the result of plating over rust.
