I'll turn 30 in July and I've collected coins since I was about 8 years old. I grew up looking for artifacts (arrowheads/stone tools) in the fields in our area with my dad, and spent countless hours rolling my ankles in the ploughed fields while also finding some cool items. I was drawn to coins when I found several in the fields and took an interest in them. I started out in U.S. coins and would randomly buy other coins I found interesting, which took me into world coins and then into Ancients, which is what I've been obsessed with lately, and forsee that going forward. I attained a degree in financial services and afterwards served in the Army as an active duty infantry officer for 3 years. I then put my degree to good use and became a financial advisor. I married my wife in 2013 and we have a baby boy due in August (our first). We also have a basset hound named Slinky. I have several other hobbies including fine woodworking and helping my wife garden and work outside on projects. The photo is on the bridge across the creek on our property.
