O'k, O'k, this has been bugging me for sometime. I am a collector of most anything that sparks my interest, But what is an error.. I know I'm stepping on VERY questionable glass, I guess that what I am seeing today leads me to ask.. this question, An error, IMHO would make every coin I have, B.C.- Date, a VAM, (which I did read), or at least something odd, well that would make everything, every coin, an error. I'ts not worth the time. and not the $ Look for a great 1915 Quarter rather than a 2015 screw up.
An error coin is part of a "Numismatic Freakshow," if you will. Error coins are the bearded ladies, strongmen, Siamese twins and deformities of the numismatic world. Why did people pay a dime to see "The 200lb. Man Eating Chicken? Why pay the dime when I can find my own chicken?
right, everybody an anybody could get a 1915 quarter, but not everybody can get a 2015 off center cent, or a 2015 doubled die quarter, or a 2015 clashed kennedy half....
