yeah, I just found out I can still give him a neg. So I might....I can post the auction again but he says it comes with a COA...not a copy...I think it is a fake. stainless
I can see your point stainless, but if you aren't happy with the overall experience, and the coin turns out to be possibly fake, aren't you lying by leaving him a positive? Doesn't matter if it's your first time bidding, or your 1,000th, you should leave feedback on how the transaction was, the entire thing. Now if he makes total good on the transaction, then I don't think he'll deserve a neg. But at the moment, (from what I'm seeing), he does, if he doesn't do anything to make up for it. JMO. Please don't take me as harsh, don't mean it at that at all, lol, but that's my opinion on the matter at the present moment. Best of luck! :thumb: Phoenix
Anthony - cant tell you how many times I have been burned. I get so mad and want to blow up the world, but then I take a deep breath and look at the situation. About 99.9% it is just not worth it for me to waste an ounce of anger on something as small as this. Most of the time it is my fault for jumping at something too quick or not reading the whole ad far enough. Now - you can say it is the "principle" of it all - and I agree, but you don't want to be thinking about this 2 weeks from now. This is not worth your time or energy. Yep - COA looks absolutely and completely made up on a copier machine, but the coin may or may not be real. In the end, you chalk up your 5 dollar donation to experience and move on. You are getting better with each purchase. See ya.
Like some of the others said, it's clear that the seller is not the best but I don't think this deal warrants an outright neg. As shady as it all looks and as crappy as the shipping was, he did deliver on the goods. HOWEVER, you do have a certain obligation to warn his NEXT potential customer with your feedback. Personally I'd leave a neutral feedback and outline as many problems as you can in the small space provided. Since you're a new eBayer, I would think a well thought out neutral carries more weight then an outright negative.
I have to bring this up, he sent you a CoA so it is a mass produced basic copy, I realy dont see what your problem with it is? Do you know what a Certificate of Authenticity is in reality? Well I will tell you it is a bit of worthless paper as all that says is his opinion of the coin it gives no guarentees. Now as for the coin taped to the envelope that is in my opinion a crime and the seller needs pulling on that, the coin looks to be genuine though. When you buy another coin please do not be taken in by such wording as comes with CoA, look at the coin, email the seller to ask if they have additional info ask how they ship and explain that you recieved a coin TAPED to the envelope LOL
If anyone deserves a negative, that seller does. That is simply unacceptable to send a coin like that, and have a copied coa.
