I joined on the night of the annual elections and the competition was tight for every office. What bothered me, and still bothered me, is that they really weren&#039;t welcoming to newcomers. After 10 minutes I could tell the club contained a few deep, impenetrable cliques. They seemed to run everything. People seemed extremely uninterested in talking to me (perhaps it&#039;s me?) and I really didn&#039;t meet anyone or really even talk to anyone, despite my trying, after three visits. The presentations I saw were decent, but I may well as have been alone in a dark movie theater.
