I am more into pennies but the treasure hunter in me also eyeballs serial numbers.
So that is what i noticed first. Not worth anything but pretty cool in my opinion. 20240519_124659.jpg 20240519_124707.jpg

That's a Replacement Note. Known as a Star note. There are many in circulation. There is a website that lets you lookup star notes to see if they are rare or not.

    Here it is
    https://www.mycurrencycollection.com/reference/star-notes/lookup

Some people try to sell them on eBay for ridiculous amounts of money but in reality they shouldn't have any premium IMHO

In addition to the information provided by paddyman98, I’ll add that your note is poorly centered, which happens occasionally but devalues any potential value. Cool find.

Any star note is a keeper in my book,

I do the same but have never found one that was worth more than face value.

If the serial # had been 76543210*, that would have been a more interesting 'keeper'

    Well see that is
But see thats what i thought. Just a cool find and my first ever off center find. So coupled with the * and the mini ladder i think it will be a fine addition in my little album. First one i have ever found that wasnt normal. Even thou no value i still think its cool
