So how do you get access to the Chinese Mints to buy direct?

I seem to buy a lot of Pandas but not enough to buy a Monster box of 600.
Can I get lesser amounts but avoid the e-bay prices? I have been getting
some from Slovenia at pretty good prices but they are just going up and up.
I don't think these e-bay sellers buy 600 either but seem to have some
kind of access to the Mint. Having said that the quality even when
double sealed has been erratic when using different suppliers. One
has been getting me MS69 or the odd MS70 and one had a number
of Pandas with scratched heads on the mother.

no way to buy direct from china. here in america is cheaper when talking about chinese silver panda. dealers in china is selling much higher than u.s. chinese silver panda were intended for american collectors. it is up to recently that the government allow its people to own gold and silver. thus some chinese silver panda were being bought back at a higher premium. but the gold panda is different.

 

I guess I'd get hit with import duty from US or China but when I buy from say Slovenia, I avoid import
duty and the 20% VAT, what you folks call sales tax. So Panda America or AMPEX would be OK if I
wanted to take the import duty sting.
