The envelope from Lord M I won a few weeks back was in the mail today, and I had to share my happiness on my facebook profile, and my coin page on FB and want to do the same her with you guys. As a Norwegian US coin collector, some coins can be hard to find, and when you get one of them, it is so much fun and joy. I am sorry if my English is not perfect, but hope you understand my happiness. Here it is =)

It's just not possible to be so lucky and have so much luck. Some time ago I won a competition in an American coin group (COIN TALK) and won 10 counter-stamped statehood quarters. It arrived in the mail today and after opening the envelope there were 2 envelopes inside. Hm, I thought, but on the outside on one of them it said the following:

I saw you like modern coins, so here are some. "Lord M"

I opened and inside I found around 10 US coins where they were vacuum packed with the designation of the coin inside. I was happy with all the coins, but one made my heart jump a little extra. I have a (almost) complete quarter collection from 1965 and even this year's coins. A (almost) complete series in almost 60 years, BUT the complete series is broken by 2 coins I am missing (missed) Quarets 1985S and 1987S (S stands for the San Francisco mint and is proof coins of the best quality). One coin was 1987S and I was so happy that I almost started crying. Such a joy for a coin that does not really have great value, but which I have been missing for so long. I've been looking for these two 80's quarters for so long, and now one of them just dropping straight into the mailbox. Joy, joy and joy again. Now I only need 1985S to get this part of the series complete. Hope it does not take 3 more years before I get bought or come over the 1985S. The value of both coins, each graded, is around 4 dollars so it is not the value for me that counts, but to get it complete. I love American coins, especially those with eagles on them. So if any of my followers here on facebook know where I can get quarter 1985 from San Francisco, give me a hint. I would really appreciate it to get this part of the collection complete. An extra big thank you to "Lord M"
