I have purchased many things from Littleton but I agree that their prices are high...can you recommend another company perhaps? I mean after all, who isn't looking to save money doing your favorite hobby?!

Your thoughtfulness brings me to tears in this story! Such kindness is rare in today's world...

I wish I'd known there was a fossil area there...my second child was born in Brunswick in 1990!

There’s no one set answer there. The only sensible reply is, “shop around”.

    I'd love to go.

20+ years ago I had to go to Del Rio Texas, during the day it was 100+ degrees so everyone was in the house -- hiding.
Naturally, being a crazy Yankee, I went out and walked up and down the area hills.
I found some crystals & some fossils.
My luggage weighed a ton on the way home.

It is hard to explain how happy I am, especially in English. You are all so kind to an unknown man on the other side of the world from the USA.
Sometimes I say to FB contacts that we are friends who still have not met. Friends cos we have a conection in some ways. Here, it is the love for coin collecting.
Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others have a heart of gold in my mind. I will try to collect som Norwegian coins to send @lordmarcovan to give away. Just give me a bit of time pls. I do find some older coins during my metal detecting so maybe some of them is good enough sending of to him. Now I am of to do some metal detecting on a farm, just few km from me. It is a bit past 5PM here in Norway so it will be a short trip

One of these days, prohibitions will be lifted, and even Zoid may get a package from The Great Lord Marcovan . . . .

I mean, we both live in the same State - a state of confusion . . . .

There was only a musket bullet and a silver button as well as a lot of iron scrap. My detector is a Minelab Equinox 800. I have been saving for a long time and sold my old one to get this one. On this short trip I managed to get a new permit from a farmer. Quite large areas so I am going there to tomorrow and hope to bring some friends with me, and have a better day than to night

Wonderful! The button is nice. It reminds me of ones I have found here on sites from the late 1700s and early 1800s.

Yeah the cubbies sat at the table for a hour at least. Each got to pick one till they where all gone. Took awhile. They were amazed at all the different types

I laughed when I read back over that old thread, some of which I had forgotten. The lightning out there was scary that day! See, Cheech, I risked life and limb to find those fossils for those young’uns of yours! ;):nailbiting::p

Like I promissed I would try to collect some Norwegian coins for @lordmarcovan to send of to you for your kindness. I have got 50 Norwegian modern Norwegian coins now from rolls unc and all of them put in to small plastic bags. Keep them, sell them or make a give away. I will also enclose some coins in HB coin holders for you. I will send them of when your envelope hits my mail box. Hope to find a few more to enclose before sending of to you =)
