    Thanks Batman. Anoob has seen this coin many times, but he always asked for me to post it when the topic is right. That's what I was referring to. I'm just pleased when someone indicates they appreciate my coins. I suppose we all like to have our coins admired.

    The reverse depicts the scene that occurred early at lamuvium at the festival in honor of Juno Sospita, when a virgin descended into the grotto under the temple with food for the serpent who dwelt there. If the girl was chaste, she returned safely to her home, where there was much rejoicing.

    Ok my girlfriend surp cc 13 077.jpg cc 13 078.jpg rized me and tried taking pics of some of my coins tonight before I got home. now that's love lol. they turned out so-so but you will get a good idea of what they should look like. cue in the Indiana Jones Raiders of the lost ark music... for this cobra snake coin from Turkmenistan 1999 proof KM#17 .925 silver estimated mintage 5,000. 500 manats denomination. I bought it for $50.00 6 years ago. it lists for $75.00 in the 2013 Krause catalog now. I love this design. opps these pics look way small the coin is 38mm in size. if you put the pointer finger cursor thingy over the pics they enlarge bigger. the coin is perfect...the scratches are on the airtites only enjoy.
