But it wasn&#039;t that collectors opted to use the SMS term to designate these different coins, it was the TPGs who decided to designate them as SMS coins.</p><p><br /></p><p>The only point of contention is regarding the coins specially designated by NGC. Caleb claims that they are not the same coins as those that PCGS calls 1964 SMS coins.
