1) Does that cat have an extra digit? 2) Do any of your coins have cat scratch fever? and 3) If so, how would you remove it?
http://www.crs-stockton.com/index2.html His father started the business and he could do amazing work. The son seems to be every bit as good. He could possibly do a good enough job that it would be undetectable, but they leave enough traces of the repair that it can be detected with close observation so it can't be sold as problem free.
Actually I dont care how much I get for it, when I sell. My intentions are not motivated by money at all. Buying, Selling, and Collecting is my hobby. I do all three of these purely because I enjoy it. I have a full time job, that pays me just fine. I lose money on particular coins that I sell all the time. I have given away coins many times during contest on this website. I give people free coins, when they buy from me, as a bonus. You guys jumped all over me, assuming my intentions are to scam people. I just happened to get a cool, old coin, which someone scratched their innitials into it. I wanted to explore ways to draw attention away from the scratch. I no its not possible to undamage a coin, but I know others have thought about it as well. I wanted to discuss, what would be involved, and would it even be possible. That is all.
