Hey all, I just wanted to get some input from you all... After purchasing several bank rolls from Florida ebay sellers, I finally stumbled onto a smooth edge, missing inscription dollar... The coin is in overall great condition, a virtually flawless reverse (grading the reverse I'd say a high ms67 low ms 68) however I have very little experience with how a grading company will (such as NGC, my intended grader) will grade it based on some contact / bag marks on the obverse.... Personally all the coins I have ever sent in were only examples I thought were were high grade ms67 or or better.. Its all I've ever bothered with, bag marks are a turn off for me and usually returned to circulation... However this is a case where I feel authentication of the coin is a must based on the amount of fraud involved with people modifying them, however is this a coin that would just be body baggged as ungradeable based on damage? Just looking for others opinions on what a top grader would say about it... Estimated grade?? Ms62 ms 63?? higher?? Lower?? Like I said, I've don't know how they handle the bag marks as I've never sent a coin with bag marks in before.... Anyway... Picture will follow soon to help with grading.
