I had to laugh, Mr. P. because this thread goes all the way back to 2007. Some of the posters were lamenting that the Vegas casinos stopped using real coins. Heck, they went to the "Ticket In/Ticket Out" technology many years before. Chris
Although Las Vegas now has mostly or all electronic machines, that quarter is still 25 years old which means that it is very very very likely that it could have lost it's reeds from slot machines. Money is shipped all over the country from bank to bank and in and out of the federal reserve. But I honestly would find a coin expert that can look at it in hand. Because they would have more knowledge about weather or not it's worth anything than a description on the internet as there are tell tale signs that we might not pick up on without in detail pictures. I hope you get lucky and it's worth something.

I found a 2020 quarter where only half of the rim is reeded and the other half is smooth. Its def a mint error due to being found in a coin roll and it is in fact uncirculated. any thoughts? thanks
