Hello, Gat Finger here. Thanks for your nice website. Thanks for your view in advance. Thanks for your time, too. I am ... Seeking information on ... J.Parson's Assay 1860 COL. (Colorado) (NOT the Faux gold plated fakes.) Branding: Larger one is stamped. Smaller one is impressed while molten. Both appear to have patina consistant with age. Many years ago, I traded for two ingots, which are about the size of (U.S. 1860s) fractional paper money , but bullion. Both have est. 150 years worth of patina aging IMHO. I think that the metal is an amalgam: Silver+ ??? They have been in a drawer since ~1995 or 6. 1. Large one: 4.36 oz (2 5/8 x 1 1/4 inches x ~ 3/8 thick) Eagle embossed on the bottom of poured ingot; 2. Small one: 2.34 oz (1 3/4 x <1 3/8 inches x < 1/4 thick) Eagle debossed (impressed into) the bottom of the poured ingot. I have owned poured ingots in the past, and these match those characteristics (i.e. poured and then stamped.) Any help is appreciated.
