It has to be a 1941, and then it has to do with the triangular serif on the S. I think the 1941 large S carries a premium. Here read this: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/variety-1941-s-large-s-jefferson-nickel-fs-501.213511/
The very first photo, the bottom serif on the S is the key. I am not suggesting cleaning this coin, but it is obscured by (dirt?) if that dirt were removed, perhaps you could identify the MM better by the link I provided in my first post. Maybe put it in distilled water? Or acetone? Then you might be able to see the serif on the bottom part of the S better.
I cleaned it with warm water only. Either way the width from top to bottom looks different to me on the small s. And in the first photo the s is defieltly symmetrical exactly what's stated in that information. Would you guys agree with that point?
It's in my first post. Here it is again: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/variety-1941-s-large-s-jefferson-nickel-fs-501.213511/
There are all kinds of prices for this coin on EBay depending on condition. You'll have to surf around.
