Hello , can you please help me identify this coin ?, I tried a couple of times in the past... It looks similar to a provincial type (Trajan or Hadrian) from Caesarea Maritima , https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/3/3957 https://www.acsearch.info/search.ht...s=1&thesaurus=1&order=0¤cy=usd&company= the main differences between them are: - is 4 mm larger(18 mm) than any examples of Trajan or Hadrian(are between 12mm - 14mm) - on top of the lion there are some letters or a snake (not in straight position) , ..some letters under the lion - the bearded emperor profile can be Hadrian, but it does not resemble the others of Hadrian....maybe a Lucius Verus or a Marcus Aurelius ? 18 mm / 2.5 g
Maybe this one, which was also issued with a lion walking right version. Septimius Severus, AD 193-211. Roman Provincial Æ (diassarion?) 17.7 mm; 4.06 g. Thrace, Philippopolis. Obv: ΑV Κ Λ CΕVΗΡΟC, laureate and draped bust right. Rev: ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΠΟΛΕΙΤ-ΩΝ, lion walking left; ox's head before. Refs: Moushmov 5274 var. (lion walking right); Varbanov 1305.
