If you thought the 7070's were hot, check out the 7220 Mexico type set. I won a Dansco 7220 at a coin shop's big board for 12.00. I knew nothing about them, but I made a play on it simply because I've never seen one before. It sold on Ebay for 120.00. They are pretty rare, but are out there, so look out for them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Dansco-7220-Mexico-Type-Set-No-Longer-in-Print-Used-/331322070150?rd=1
Looks like it has a coin in it - wonder if some of the bidders thought that. Looks modern though. I will definitely have to keep that in mind and good to know.
I was at coin shop yesterday. They had a bunch of used danscos for $8 each, iirc. Should I be buying these?
You're a fool if you buy a raw Dansco. I only buy slabbed and green-beaned Danscos, because that way I know my investment is guaranteed.
I must be out of the loop. Are 7070s desirable these days? It's actually the only dansco I've completed (minus gold)
They don't make the 7070 anymore and they are hard to find in good condition. Dansco has said they are developing the next version, but it's not available.
