Slanted Rims on U.S. Philippines Dollar - Bezel Damage or Minting Characteristic??

    I just posted this over in the Coin Chat forum but wanted to see if anyone here might have more expertise on Philippine coinage specifically. The rim appears slanted all the way around on both sides of the coin. Would this be from mounting in a bezel, or could the coin have been minted that way? It’s a 1907s dollar.

    If the rim doesn't normally look like that, then I would assume PMD.

    BTW, I like your new profile pic! I gotta get me one of those commem halves. That's one of the better ones.
