Just sharing this site that I found about imitations of RR Denarii.

    https://rrimitations.ancients.info/

I usually try to find online references and sites with information; I think it would be useful & helpful to have a Forum thread where we can only post and share online references and sites about ancient coins. Sure, there is the Numismatic Resources Forum, but there is no Ancient section there. Just a thought...

Create one with a title that explain what it is for and have it pinned to top of page?

Will do it :) here in Ancient Forum or in the Numismatics Resources?

Pinned topics on the ancient page was never really liked. Now, who knows.
Open to all, who would like it on here or somewhere else?

Not a big deal, but I prefer to not have threads pinned to the top if possible. It's just a little bit of a pain to eye-scroll through them to get to active threads every single time.

Didn't realize I had such a preference until that authoritarian "Behave this way children!" post finally went away.

Oh that's interesting. I remembering reading a message by Phil Davis that he'd turned his collecting interests to these. Good to see the site, thank you for sharing.

Or maybe I should just forget it and do nothing:confused:

    Your thoughts are most welcome!

Thank you @Curtis for your input. Will change the augustuscoins link for the educational one when I post the thread, unless the opinion is that I should not post the thread ... still working on it :D
