Not quite as good per ounce as the APMEX deal, but less money overall (about half as much out-of-pocket). Is that about right? $23.19/oz
Yes, but at the time silver was also lower. This worked out to less than $2 over spot inclusive. I can buy mint bars and rounds locally for about $2 over spot, but I have to pay sales tax unless I buy $1,000 or more worth. I have been happy with Silvertowne so far, among several others. Seems the big players on eBay are APMEX, Pinehurst, Silvertowne, and a few others that specialize in specific mints as well. On the gold side, it is hard to find any clear price leaders.
