i found this and thought it was kinda cool. it says that it,s 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver all the scratches are on the case so do u think its worth anything?
It's kind of a pretty design...I like it. But, at the end of the day it's nothing more than a 1oz silver round. So, like they already said...it's value is melt value. Silver has been down lately, it looks like it closed at $10.41 an ounce today.
It's a silver round with a Christmas theme. I have several of these. It's worth the value of the silver content, but don't sell it short. Physical silver currently sells for more than the spot price which is really a paper price derived from the futures market. Compare it to other silver round prices, and consider a fair selling price to be something like 15% below whatever it costs to buy it. But don't pay much attention to the spot price any more.
