I think the Reddit group should be commended for their attempt to wake up the masses to the fiscal insanity being forced on us, because who knows where this will lead. Does the stock market just keep going up? Only to turn it's paper millionaires into paupers with the debasement of our currency, or does it dump after all the insiders get out, leaving millions of folks wondering what happened to their retirement savings. But don't question them (your Corporate Financial Masters) or their minions (those whose investments depend on them), because then they attack you. Which brings me back to the masses and why should anyone care about them when they're so content with their lot in life? Plato said, “Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses.” Marcus Aurelius said, "The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane." And my favorite definition of the masses was by Albert Nock who said, "As the word masses is commonly used, it suggests agglomerations of poor and underprivileged people, labouring people, proletarians, and it means nothing like that; it means simply the majority. The mass-man is one who has neither the force of intellect to apprehend the principles issuing in what we know as the humane life, nor the force of character to adhere to those principles steadily and strictly as laws of conduct; and because such people make up the great and overwhelming majority of mankind, they are called collectively the masses." Maybe by helping the masses we help ourselves, so if a Reddit group can help the masses I'm all for it, because in the end it might help us all.
Ah. So, "them", the (not-us) masses too stupid and weak-willed to do The Right Thing, as opposed to "Them", the (not-us) cabal secretly manipulating everything from their shadowy towers. I mean, don't get me wrong, I know there are dumb people out there, and I know there are schemers. I just haven't seen a lot of good things coming out of speeches that try to blame either group for the world's problems.
Reminds me of an old movie with Jamie Lee Curtis "A Fish Called Wanda". Her brother was a baffoon, and when she called him a gorilla he said "Do gorillas read Nietzsche?". She said yes, they simply do not understand it. Those who rail about the PM markets without understanding how it works always make me remember that quote. There is a huge difference between reading facts and data and UNDERSTANDING it. Data is only meaningful when you have a context in which to properly interpret it. I liken it to reading Microsoft source code. If you do not know what the computer will do with these lines of code, you cannot really come to a conclusion if the code is good or not.
and to think the irs is actually not authorized to even collect taxes, they were only in times after war to pay off the debt, no war, no taxes.. https://www.efile.com/frivolous-arg...ion-is-wrong-illegal-unconstitutional-unfair/
Free silver is there for the taking. All you have to do is start prospecting for it. Well based on your logic that is.
