casino hunting Howdy, There are many casinos that still have quarter and half dollar machines that give you back coins. I'll normally check a few times at the very least whenever I go. However, I would caution against a wholesale checking process as it would probably bring down the heat. They want you playing, NOT putting $50 into a .50 machine, cashing out and taking the coins to the cashier, getting a $50 bill and doing it repeatedly. If you think airports now have tight security, they're pikers when it comes to casinos. EVERYTHING you do is on tape. I still check though. teehehe ;-) While on the subject of casinos, over the years, I've created quite a collection of dollar casino tokens. These are from vegas and a myriad of indian reservation casinos. Indeed, every trip to vegas, I'm always looking for new tokens - or even token sets like some casinos have. Often you can go to the cage and buy 'mint state' versions of their tokens. You have to ask and see what they are using. This is sort of like penny smashers. I'll be damned if I can pass one by without smashing a penny - at least for every variety offered. ;-) On a trip to Disney World, I took a roll of new pennies and a roll of quarters and went nuts. peace, rono
