I was wondering if you guys seen this video I watched the entire thing a while back ago on silver mining found it pretty interesting on how badly it was mining in mines from the 1800s and early 1900s. The modern Mines are not much better if you ask me but it's a job.
I've read various accounts of the conditions endured by miners of the Comstock Lode, and they weren't pretty. Offhand, the description I recall that best described it was in the book, "The Crime of 1873 - The Comstock Connection". Chris
