    Hi All,

Just speculating a little about silver's potential future run. If you read my post leave a message on the site or comment here. I'm interested to hear what other people think about what silver is going to do.

Here's the link: Silver is on the move, was this a bottom?

    Kind regards,

I think some days it will go down, and some days it will go up. The only logical bottom would be zero. will it get there? doubtful. Trying to Call bottoms is foolishwhen investing

Perhaps this should have gone in the discussion section, rather than the bullion investing forum. I like your response Treehugger.

    I find this interesting:

However, after that, silver dropped back down to $28/oz, and was at that most of this week, and has been as low as $26.96/oz this past month.

Looking at the year to date on Kitco.com, it was up as much as $35.41, and has been steadily declining, with a small increase to $29.86 as of today.

I'd hardly call that a run.

I'm thinking that silver will hit $40/oz again within a couple of years. The way that the industrialized world is printing paper, it has to mean something good for silver and gold. Of course, I've been wrong on this one so many times that I wouldn't put lots of money on it but just enough to keep my collector's habit happy.

The price of silver is always on the move.

QE3 reaction...should continue up through the election, then tank regardless who gets elected (imho).

I hope you're right. About 6 weeks ago I bought 3 rolls of BU mercs for $85.00 a roll. I'm holding them for a good price soon.

Hard to say for sure, but we may never see $26 again with the upcoming debt issues for the United States. (near the end of this year)

Summer is also almost over which is typically a rough time for precious metals.

And the run continues up to $30.24 (it did reach $30.50 this morning). Basically every day this week silver has gained higher than the previous day.

As I said before, I'd hardly call it a run, and $2/oz. gain is nothing to wet your pants over.

Regardless of what it does from here, it is nice to see it move out of that $26-$28 range. That was getting pretty freaking boring.

I prefer it when it moves 1 way or the other. It's difficult to make any moves when it is stagnant.

Nice BUn, I'm simply have to see it doing something. Like TREEHUGGER said, it was getting pretty boring watching silver hover at $28 these past 3-4 months.

Actually, the last time silver was over $29/oz., was back in June, only two months ago.
