[QUOTE="rosethe, post: 831847, member: 21556"]Hello, I finally garnered the courage to attack the bulk of my Father's collection. It is seriously out of hand. I do not think I will be able to effectively inventory this lot. There are about 6-7 grocery sacks all weighing about 40 lbs. I looked in the first sack and started writing. After a few hours it became apparent that this is almost insurmountable for a newbie with a Red Book. Here's a partial list of the Silver pieces. Apart from another bunch of WL's and Franklins' (that I found in a different bag) which are not listed yet. Add to that, there are a whole lot of 'blue books' for the sets. Some are filled, half filled and almost empty. (those coins are not recorded below either)

SILVER PIECES

DOLLARS

MORGANS

1880 O

1902 O

1879 S 3rd rev?

(x4) 1921

1901 O

1921 S damaged

PEACE

1922

1923 S worn

1922 D AU

(x2) 1926 D (?)

HALF DOLLARS

BARBER HALVES

1892 S

1900 S

1905

1905 S

WALKING LIBERTY HALVES

1892 S

(x4) 1917

1917 S

(x2) 1918

1918 D

(x3) 1918 S

(x3) 1920

1920 D

1920 S

1923 S

1928 S

1929

1929 D

(x2) 1933 S

(x5) 1934

(x2) 1934 D

(x10) 1935

(x2) 1935 D

1935 S

(x4) 1936

1936 D

(x2) 1936 D AU

1936 S

(x2) 1937

1937 S

1938

1939

1939 D

(x4) 1939 S

(x2) 1940

(x2) 1940 S

(x8) 1941

(x2) 1941 in folder

1941 D

1941 S

(x19) 1942

1942 D

1942 S

(x19) 1943

1943 toned

(x2) 1943 D

1943 S

(x5) 1944

(x14) 1944 D

1944 D toned

(x7) 1944 S

1944 S toned

(x12) 1945

(x2) 1945 D

(x3) 1946

(x2) 1946 D

1947 D

FRANKLIN HALVES

(x3) 1948 D

(x3) 1949

1949 in folder

1949 D

1949 S

1950 D

(x2) 1951

1951 S

1952

(x3) 1952 D

1952 S

1953 in folder

(x2) 1953 D

1954 D

1955 in folder

1956

1957

(2x) 1957 D

1958

(x3) 1959

(x3) 1960

1960 D

(3x) 1961

(x3) 1962

1963

(x3) 1963 D

1965 D

KENNEDY HALVES

(x30) 1964

(x13) 1964 D

(x2) U.S. Proof Set 1964

Most of the coins are well worn, unless otherwise noted.
