Silver & Gold John Muir 2005 quarter

I just found this quarter and wonder should I keep just in case it's worth more since its mix gold

    You might want to consider keeping it simply because it's not something you see everyday. However, it has ne real numismatic value other than its face value since it is considered 'post mint damage'

    As for the gold value? Hardly even a nit. Same with any silver since these metals can be plated to .001 inches in thickness.

    Additionally, someone paid some serious money for this when it was first manufactured in the after market but now, it's just pocket change. Thats gotta tell you something.
