I just received this 2002 silver eagle from eBay and would like to remove the stickers, but I'm not sure how to do it. There were already several small spots where the stickers have worn away revealing the coin underneath.

If anyone knows how to get these off, please tell me how. Thanks!

a soak in acetone should dissolve the glue without doing further damage to the round...

what a terrible thing to do to the coin! Agreed with ziggy9, PURE acetone. ensure you rinse with purified water after and dry thoroughly (gently with a very soft cotton towel)

Did you get it under spot? Why buy this one and not one with no sticker?

Keep in mind that 2002 was a time when silver melt was $5 or so, and the SAE's with the 9/11 reminders were selling for $20+. Regardless of the tragedy, there will always be some form of lowlife who will try to cash in on it.
