Exactly, there's little faith there could be a new golden age of coin design, so, the only hope is to revert back to designs that are widely accepted as artistic.

It's just a shame that there's no political will to even try. Maybe Teddy Roosevelt will be reincarnated and we can have another golden age lol. Well even if he was, with the way politics are now, I don't think even he could jump start another golden age.
