Siliqua Prices?

    Hey everyone,

Just wondering if I can get some input in regards to the prices of siliquae? I am currently in the market for high grade siliquae (preferably EF). I already have a few emperors (Constantine I, Constantius II, Julian, Valens, Gratian, Valentinian II, Magnus Maximus, Eugenius and Honorius), but I can't seem to find decent specimens of Theodosius I or Arcadius. Are these emperors rarer for siliquae?

I recently attempted bidding (unsuccessfully) on a siliqua of Theodosius (condition: MS), but its final hammer price was over $1100 US ($1500 Cad) so I had to pass. Given what I paid for my rarer siliquae (Constantine I and Eugenius), I figured a Theodosius siliqua would be a bit less. If anyone has siliquae of Theodosius or Arcadius I would appreciate feedback as to what I should expect to pay.

    Thanks!
