WTS: Sikyon stater, chimera/dove. Greek coin

    Here is a beautiful, large, Greek stater from Sikyon in the Peloponnessos, only 30 miles west of Corinth.

    Apparently bought from Malter between 1965 and 1980. It has a nearly blank old-style Malter ticket with "17" on it, but think it was bought in the store because I didn't find it in Malter catalogs. An impressive large coin with good toning. Very attractive. [$495 + $9 shipping in the US] Please compare prices elsewhere.
