Justin Lee I learn by doing

I like that the horse, er... Dobbin is in motion, parading around and the like! Sweet name too! I have named any of mine (yet :shy:). Here's mine of the same type (sans cigar, but someone took a bite outta the cookie, jk):
    Zeugitania, Carthage, 201-195 BC
    AE Trishekel

Obverse: Wreathed head of Tanit left.
Reverse: Horse standing right, left foreleg raised. Faint area behind head may be worn uncertain mark.
    References: MMA 105a
    Size: 28mm, 18.3g
Notes: Coin likely broke after casting when separating the coin from the casting “tree”.

@Alegandron, do you think my recent addition is actually male or female? I have it labeled as Tanit, but now I'm not sure...

    Zeugitania, Carthage, 400-350 BC
AE Unit, Carthage or Sicilian Mint

Obverse: Head of Tanit left, wearing wreath of grain and earrings.
    Reverse: Horse galloping right.
References: MAA 15, SNG Cop 96
    Size: 16mm, 4.32g
Notes: Very unique rendering of horse on reverse, with long neck design.

I love this picture... and the view. I'll miss it! Moving back to the States later this year. Had two offers on my place within days of listing :). I think the buyers are going to use it as a vacation home and will rent it out by the week when not in residence.

    SICILY, Entella. Punic issues
    c. 300-289 BCE; AR tetradrachm, 24 mm, 16.8 gm, 12h)
Obv: head of Melquart-Herakles right, wearing lion skin
Rev: head of horse left; astragalos (cut over poppy) to left, palm tree to right, Punic MHSBM (approximate meaning is "quaestors" or financial controllers) below
    Ref: Jenkins, Punic 366 (O115/R298), series 5b
    Ex Gorny & Mosch 138 (7 March 2005), lot 33

I see an earring and grain ear wreath on your obverse figure so it's Tanit.
