Oh, how do you all find out about coins? Hey all, I'm new in this forum and I'm really interested in antique stuff in general. All kinds of things, I mean. It's amazing to see the huge variety of ancient coins, they seem to be really worthy. But how do you get hold of them? Are U collectors? :welcome:
Boy...that medal is just bizarre. The obverse side looks like a seen from ****. Apparently I can't use a certain word to describe the medal above, so I'll spell it backwards for you: "lleh"
Here is unusual coin from USSR. 5 roubles 1987, "70th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution".
i really like the zinc occupation issues, i have the full set from the occupied states which took me years to collect.
I found six Roman coins of two thousand years old with a White's metal detector. They are now mounted in a frame with a description of each coin. These are scanned coins pictures. I will add some of the many coins recovered here in New York. I am a professional relic hunter. And came across these coins while hunting a British site in Queen's, New York
German issue for Western part of Russian Empire (occupation zone). Rather rare and unusual coin:smile 3 kopeks 1916, iron.
