Cool in the Extreme!!

 

Fun token I found at the last NH Ciun and Currency Expo

 

This thread has all different kinds of things so I’ll add this piece that doesn’t really fit a category but I think is pretty cool.

 

1792 Scotland Lothian Edinburgh Hutchisons Halfpenny Conder Token...given to my son from a friend of ours for his collection....I honestly don't know much more about it, but it's cool!!

 

I bought a fairly large collection of foreign silver a few years ago and there were a few nice surprises, including this one still inside the mint cello
That's actually a beeeeautiful Franklin Mint coin and I have a real weakness for the nicest FM pieces
One of those finds that keeps making me grin when I see it lol.

 

A new German States coin I acquired that I absolutely love. Cologne,1630, 8 Heller, KM# 328.

 

A couple of interesting centennial tokens / medals from 1902. They've passed their bicentennial 20 years ago.

This except the butterfly are on IHC host coins. The butterfly is in a V nickel

 

I just ran across this little gem today...it was given to me back in 1968 when I was a paper boy by one of my customers....some 54 years ago now! Still in the same tan envelope when he gave it to me .
I still recall his residence

 

I've got one of those around here somewhere, albeit sans envelope . . . . . .

I'm an insect enthusiast. Appears the beetles are longhorn beetles. Have you seen any references on the specific species portrayed?
