Something that I thoroughly enjoy is collecting notes and error notes in particular are my favorite. I think this strap pack is so cool. How could whoever wrapped the bricks not catch the fold over cutting error? Kind of glad they did.
Refugees from a strip club.... When eveyone else had their eyes glued to her "G" I said oh no we're not stuffin these....!
I am curious as to the back plate numbers. The 83 may have been a leftover from a previous run. I could find no online records of the back plates numbers after 2006. Someone else might can help with this. @Numbers maybe.
My mother got this coin in her change almost 10 years ago at a Wal-Mart. It’s a 1953 silver Peso from pre-Communist Cuba. This Peso commemorates the 100th birthday of Cuba’s founding father, Jose Marti. My Peso contains 26 grams of 90% silver. That’s because these Cuban pesos were minted using US silver dollar planchets. The US Mint was contracted to produce coinage for Cuba before Fidel Castro took power. The total mintage of the Jose Marti Pesos was 1,000,000 so these coins aren’t particularly scarce. However, eBay enforced a ban on selling Cuban coins on their platform, including pre-Communist coins such as this Jose Marti Peso.
This 69 IHC is currently in Chicigo for Rick Snow to examine in hand...possible mpd flag of 1 in neck. If confirmed it will be another discovery coin for me
