    Heres one of mine,

    Patraos (335-315 BC). AR Tetradrachm (12.22g 22mm).
    Obv. Laureate youthful head of Apollo facing right.
    Rev. Π-OA-Ρ-TAΥ , horseman right, spearing fallen enemy.
    Paeonian Hoard I, 490 (same dies); SNG ANS 1040 (same obv. die).

    Yes, we got a huge herd, but I saw a lot of interesting coins, which have not seen before...

    I became curious about what to call "a group of horses". This is what I found on the internet so it must be true. :)

    A stable, herd or harras [for horses in general]
    A band [for a family of horses]
    A team [for working horses]
    A string or field [for race horses]

    Herd is CORRECT, however English has so many word choices for different ideas.

    Rev:– PONTIF TR P COS II, Geta on horseback riding left, spearing enemy beneath.
    Minted in Rome. A.D. 209
    Reference:– BMC p. 359 17. RIC 68 (Rated Rare), RSC 130. Only 4 examples in RD so quite a rare coin on that basis

    I was just curious about the English words that can be used to describe a herd of horses. Thanks for starting and hosting the cool thread. Some great, thought provoking coins have been posted here.

    Rev:– FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Helmeted soldier to left, shield on left arm, spearing falling horseman; shield on ground at right. Horseman is bearded and falls forward reachine towards emperor (type FH3)
    Minted in Antioch (Gamma | _ //ANS). A.D. 350-355
    Reference:- RIC VIII, Antioch 132.
