Welcome @I_v_a_n. Each of us could probably fill several pages with horse themed coins, but here are a few of mine.
Heres one of mine, Patraos (335-315 BC). AR Tetradrachm (12.22g 22mm). Obv. Laureate youthful head of Apollo facing right. Rev. Π-OA-Ρ-TAΥ , horseman right, spearing fallen enemy. Paeonian Hoard I, 490 (same dies); SNG ANS 1040 (same obv. die).
I need to arrange a photo shoot with my coins & reshoot the older ones. Theyre schedule is almost impossible to pencil in, lol.
So many good types have already been shown, I'll try for some less often shown. Parthian tetrachalkon Mithradates I My most stylized horse: Muhammed Qarlugh 1249-1258 AD AE jital Horse in process of rolling down on the ground. Larissa AR stater Trigas are less common than bigas or quadrigas. This Honorius is my latest Roman horse. Are there later?
I became curious about what to call "a group of horses". This is what I found on the internet so it must be true. A stable, herd or harras [for horses in general] A band [for a family of horses] A team [for working horses] A string or field [for race horses]
No worries! Your English is AWESOME. I believe we all are communicating well. Herd is CORRECT, however English has so many word choices for different ideas. MY Russian is terrible!
