This is an interesting idea of this forum "show me..." great feature of coins. At the time, I was amazed by the image of horses on the ancient coins. This one is from my collection. I believe a good start for new thread.

stevex6, agree with you about an endless actuality of horses theme. This two coins, I have to show, are the best from my collection. I have choose a very difficult theme - electrum and gold coins. My collection grown very slowly But it very transportable and I can take it all with me elsewhere

Great Thread. I'll post two from my all time favorite ancient light cavalry, the Numidians! Micipsa, son of Masinissa (of 2nd Punic war fame). 1st/2nd Century, Cirta. Turreted head of Tyche facing left. Reverse, free horse left with cadeceus. My apologies for the lack of size and weight, I'm at work and don't have the info.
