I've got this "coin" but it's really not my cup of tea. Non-circulating commemoratives aren't proper coins, they're gewgaws. :yuck:

Any pointers for differentiating between the stars - low / high relief?

This was a coin that I purchased only because I really liked the design. No matter how much I try to convince myself otherwise, it just doesn't fit into my collection.

Oh well, I still like it.

One thing I sure miss about living in Florida is the relative availability of Cuban coins in assorted foreign coin boxes and melt pans. Living there certainly made assembling a Cuban type set far easier as opposed to finding Cuban coins on eBay that somehow managed not to be removed.

Low relief will have more defined lines in the valleys of the star. High relief will have a weak strike on the key and the palm tree. I would guess high relief on yours, but hard to tell if it's not just wear.
