You need to hit the Pause button and learn before you even consider spending that much money on a coin, let alone a piece of junk.
Struck with a well worn die and is not a special coin of any kind. You were wise to post a question. Your research will save you moneys.
A friend directed me to this site and i will thank him to, but first thank you all, and forgive me for any tread intrussions
Good thing you came here. There is a lot to learn and a lot of knowledgeable people who are more than happy to help out.
Do some research and study the coins you are interested in before you take someone else's word for something. Good thing you posted (your own thread) here and learned before foolishly spending the money.
I’m glad you found us. There are jerks out there peddling all sorts of garbage. Feel free to run a coin — any coin — by the group. You’ll find someone with expertise with any possible purchase.
Welcome to Coin Talk. From what you have posted so far, I can see you're not familiar with US coins. Please, before you buy any US coins, ask here. None of the members on Coin Talk will steer you in the wrong direction. Also, if you want to learn about US coins buy a copy of "A Guide Book of United States Coins" by R.S. Yeoman published by Whitman. (Called the Red Book). I'm pretty sure it's available wherever you live. If you don't know how to start a thread ask one of the moderators: @GDJMSP; @desertgem; @lordmarcovan.
