Should I Open My Bison P&D Mint Sets

To the best of my knowledge, none have ever been found in the rolls the mint sold.

I have the 2/15/05 0000 boxes and opened the D rolls and found mostly scratched and dings on almost all the coins.i couldn't believe it.

Is this a record price for a die crack?

 

First of all, it's not a die crack, it is a die scratch, but even if it was a crack I doubt it would be a record. There are numerous bust coins that are collected by die variety and a die crack can be very valuable on some of those coins.
