If you are serious about selling any of these I would get in touch with Andy Skrabalak at Angel Dees. Andy deals in very high end small cents and is highly respected. He doesn't sell raw coins but can advise you on grades and values and will submit them to PCGS for you if you cannot do it yourself.

He will buy your coins outright or work on a commission. Andy, FWIW, was behind the $1.7m sale of the 1943-D bronze cent.

That 1909 has potential... but yes, professional photos would be needed.

As for selling them, I'd just contact Heritage. Cut out the middleman... that 1909-S VDB is a high-value coin and should sell easily on HA.com.

I like Heritage too. Best auction house, huge audience. Hard to lose. No middle man cut but the 15% fee buyers pay is always factored into bids.

Some high-end coins do better with the right dealer. Legend, for example, is wildly successful at selling superb coins to deep-pocketed buyers.

That 1909-S VDB PCGS 66+RD is a coin I'd bid on and want to know about if it went to a dealer. Let us know what you will do with it, Sarah.
