1972 D looks like it was sand blasted but still weighs 3.11 g.

Could have been a dig up coin that was tumbled in a rock tumbler.
Didn't think of that ! People do strange things I guess ! Probably not the smartest thing to do !

If it were corroded,tumbled or sand blasted would it loose weight ?
