That looks like the KLM paint scheme.

I live in the flight path of Chicago to the northern east coast and Europe. So a lot of 747s leaving in the evening which occasional fly right past the moon. I catch the odd Airbus 388 from time to time too.

Yes, but ti's not very good here. Normally have to go to some place much darker. haven't done much in the last 2 years though and mostly have been facebook posts. Andromeda is quite easy to see too with minor magnification in really good dark skies.

 

It will become much..much..easier to see in the future, won't need any magnification.

 

not if my eyes get worse and worse in the future.
My buddy can see it with his bare eyes. 15 years ago I could .. Not today.

 

You planning on being around to see it?
