(WJBK) - Roseville police  used DNA evidence to identify a man suspected of robbing a coin and  jewelry store last year. Robert Tillman, 31 of Detroit, was  arrested Thursday and charged with one count of assault with intent to  rob while armed, one count of felony firearm and two counts of assault  with intent to murder. He, along with two other men, is accused  of attempting to rob the Coin Cove on Gratiot near 10 Mile on June 14,  2011. Police say during the robbery, the suspects fired several gun  shots at store owners before fleeing the scene. Police were unable to  locate the suspects, but one dropped an article of clothing which was  held for possible DNA evidence. With help from the Michigan State Police Crime Lab, police were able to match the DNA to Tillman's. He  is being held in the Roseville Police Department's jail on an interim  $500,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in 39th District  Court.[ATTACH]175316.vB[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]
