Can't find any other Forum in here that makes sense, so here 'tis.

I have a group of used 3- and 4-page Eagle slab albums that I want to sell.
Problem is that S&H for a 12x12x4 item is NOT cheap.
Here's a pic if you don't know what I'm referencing:

It appears that one album in a box will weigh 2+ pounds.
Media mail seems to be NOT an option.

I've looked at USPS, UPS and FedEx.
    All run about $15-20.
Since these are used albums I was thinking of listing them in the $5-10 range, well under half what new ones cost.
But S&H would make my selling price too high.
Local pickup is about the only thing I can think of that makes sense.

    Any suggestions?

Does this qualify for Media Mail? Not entirely sure but check it out!

Dump them on Craigslist in your area and meet at your favorite watering hole.

The postal service is strict about what qualifies to be sent as Media Mail. It must be actual "media" such as books, magazines, video tapes, DVD's, etc.

The receiving postal clerk will likely ask at the counter what it is you're trying to send. One can fib or try to skirt around the question but Media Mail is subject to being opened and inspected either right there in front of you or somewhere along the way as it makes its way through sorting facilities.

I'm with Chris about dumping them on Craiglist and letting the item go on there. That, or put them on here in the B.S.T. section and see if someone wants them who is local. Donating to a local coin club to be auctioned is another idea.

Like I said earlier, Media Mail doesn't appear to be an option.

I've never dealt with Craigslist and probably will continue not to.
But I do like the donation idea.

    Media Mail.
It looks like a book to me.

That sounds good about possibly donating them. Craigslist is definitely interesting to use sometimes. I can put an item on there for $2 and I won't get a response or any interest. However, I can put the same item in the free section and I'll have people willing to drive 50 miles to pick it up.
