Golden toning and bought from Baldwins.........Hong Kong sale. So let's see what the consensus is.....gone to NGC with other coins anyway.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Hard to gauge the surfaces under the toning - but it looks quite attractive. 64 at least, maybe 65?

Rims on the reverse look very thin compared to those on the obverse.

I don't know enough about these to know if it is fake or not. Wouldn't surprise me, but... Baldwin's is a respectable firm. They should be able to weed out fakes before the sale. Most major auction houses will also accept returns if it is proven that they sold a fake (if it comes back as not genuine).

yes..........agreed and I have already written to them but Ma Tak Wo working on conjunction with Baldwins would seem the last seller to be peddling fakes and if you can't trust them who can you trust? Still, they are not yet proved guilty......so lets see what NGC say.

This is extremely hard to collect, as these coins are heavily counterfeited. I'd only purchase one if it was in a AUTHENTIC PCGS or NGC holder.
