Shattered Die and Struck Through Something 2003 LMC?

    This looks like a shattered die to me. Multiple levels on sides of cracks. But am at a loss for the indentations above the shattered part. The area that goes through WE is also indented around the letters. Could this be a mix of mint and PMD?

    That looks like some type of glue, adhesive or epoxy. Soak it in acetone, see what happens.

    Learned how to identify something new! After soaking, some came off and the rest turned cloudy. THANK YOU ALL!

    Glad you discovered whstvit teslly was Kaye. A shattered Die will have numerous cracks running rim to rim. They are mainly on older coins. You should look up Shattered Die and you'll see what I mean. A great way to learn.
