Here's a lustrous battle scene - celebrating a heroic act of the moneyer's ancestor:
    P Fonteius.jpg P. Fonteius P.f. Capito, AR denarius , 55 BC
Obv: P·FONTEIVS·P·F – CAPITO·III·VIR, helmeted and draped bust of Mars right, with trophy over shoulder
Rev: MN – FONT·TR·MIL, horseman thrusting spear at enemy who is about to slay unarmed captive; in right field, helmet and oval shield
    Ref: Crawford 429/1.

Edit: In general I am more of a fan of bright and lustrous on coins like this one than a Roman republican denarius where I like a coin that looks like it has been sitting in a cabinet for a few hundred years...

It's very very difficult to find bronze coins that are shiny well-preserved, mainly because of the reactiveness of the metal. You can somewhat easily clean an encrusted silver or gold coin to mint-shine, but that's much more difficult with bronzes.

My best bronze, or at least as close to as-struck as I'll ever get is this one of Faustina I:
Faustina I Sestertius RIC Rome 1128.JPG
Despite the state of preservation being superb, there jade-green patina completely covers the entire coin, and leaves virtually none of the underlying orichalcum visible. Nevertheless, this patinated bronze seems about as good as we can get to finding an as-struck bronze.

Does anybody have a bronze that actually still looks bronze, and is nearly as-struck?

Here's a Victorinus that is rather shiny and retains much silvering, despite the rather large mineral deposit.

This guy is probably my shiniest. As with all of these already posted, you don’t necessarily get the full effect unless its in hand.
